When people ask what I believe is my greatest strength, I always answer "My problem solving skills". I'm a very creative person who knows how to think outside the box to get things done. I am good at thinking outside the box and doing things in different ways. My biggest belief is "Where there's a will, there's a way." My will is strong and I almost always find a way.

I love to research, which always leads to better and more productive work. The more I learn about something, the easier it is for me to problem solve. While in college, I truly enjoyed the final research papers due in various classes. I loved to dig in deep and really learn my subject which is likely why I never got anything below an A on a research paper!

I'm the family Computer Nerd and have been working with computers since 1985 when our school purchased a few Macintosh computers. Computers keep evolving, and so far: I have evolved with them. I don't have many friends my age that know as much about computers as I do, which is why they call me. Many of them know what they need to know to work; but have no idea how to crack a laptop open and replace any of the parts.

Over the years I have learned to work with so many computer peripherals; from the fax modem / machine to Large Xerox machines. I enjoy working with different equipment and learning new ways of doing things.

My English and Grammar are excellent, and I have even worked as a proofreader for the Fence Post Magazine before they realized my Graphic Artist skills and promoted me to Production / Graphic Artist. That was truly my favorite job. I liked working with various team mates like the salemen, our crew of Artists and the guys in the printing press crew when I check negatives and first prints of our magazines. I got along with everyone and looked forward to going to work every day. It was there I got the opportunity to create corporat ads and company logos for clients. As an aritst, there is no better feeling than to see your art work up on billboards!

I work well under pressure and deadlines aren't an issue for me. I am pretty good at prioritizing and delgating. I am a great leader, but more importantly; an awesome team mate. My customer service skills are second to none, and I am educated in diversity so I am good with almost everyone. I have no preconceived notions of anyone and am good at de-escilating situations when they get tense.

My determination is also a big asset for me. My goals are important to me, no matter how big or small. When I set out to do something, I rarely give up. I just research how to do things a different way.

As for my weaknesses: I have Panic Disorder. I haven't had an attack in many years, and I only had attacks in crowds, but it looms in the background and I feel the need to inform everyone I work with so they can be prepared for the off chance I might have one.
